June 5-7, 2026 - Rendezvous Discovery - A Learning Experience, Tonquish Muzzleloaders Skills Conservancy, Western Wayne County Conservation Association, 6700 Napier Road, Plymouth, Michigan 48170. Contact tonquish1776@gmail.com, Facebook page. A Saturday of learning through an interactive primitive camping experience, or participants can attend during the day Saturday. Tonquish members will be camping Friday and Saturday nights. Participants can set up primitive or modern camps in the primitive area. Saturday lunch will be provided and there will be a potluck dinner with hot dogs provided. Participants should provide their own food for other meals. Included are hands-on traditional buckskinner competitions guided by friendly, experienced reenactors, camp skills, demonstrations, trade blankets. Evening includes a campfire, music and storytelling. Modern hook-ups are available nearby. Participation in the encampment experience is $22 and by reservation only. Email for reservation. Afternoon demonstrations are free and open to the public.

Celebrating the 300th anniversary of the 1726 French Castle. Friday's school day. Saturday's program recreates the arrival of Chaussegros de Lery and his workers and soldiers who began construction of the castle. Building trades demonstrations, military pageantry, musket and artillery firings and rededication ceremonies.

Fort Wayne, situated at the confluence of the Three Rivers, was on the front line in a battle that could have decided the fate of the entire Northwest Territory. July 10-18, 2026 - Rocky Mountain National Rendezvous, Soward Ranch, Creede, Colorado. In the second year of its Bicentennial Celebration of rendezvous in the Rocky Mountains. Elevation 8,800 feet. At the gate, fees are each $10 higher. Early setup July 8-9 with fee of $5 per person per day (ages 15 and older). Town also known for its Bavarian heritage, Zehnder’s and Bronner’s provides back drop for the 18th-century event. Battles centered around a fortified hill and a wooden bridge. Canoe race, period dance and ladies tea. Large public attendance. Powder ration, modern bath 24/7, showers, Saturday dinner and food for purchase on site. Set up Friday and stay until Monday to shop in town.

An America 250 celebration to share our heritage with others. Reenactors will share with visitors their persona, trade, skills, talents, etc. Rendezvous games, activities and demonstrations on Saturday and Sunday for visitors.
