Hello everyone! This 2026 event update includes dates and information for most the winter and early spring events on the annual calendar, plus many other events later in the season. As always, please email your event information to me

Jan. 9-11, 2026 - Thunder Creek Long Rifles Wintervous, Bear Wallow Road near Martinsville, Indiana. Contact thundercreek1972@gmail.com. Wintervous takes place in a cabin. Shoot Sunday. Participants should provide their own water, food and beverages. Pre-1840 attire is required, but modern footwear is acceptable for weather conditions.

The year dawns anew at Post Miami, a French colonial outpost situated beside the great Native American Village of Kekionga of the Myaamia Nation. The Old Fort will host French Colonial reenactors with displays of domestic life, the economics of the fur trade, and military life. Public hours 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Every May, eighth-grade students at Willard Middle School recreate the time of the Revolutionary War, learn about life in the 1700s and reenact battle scenes. Reenactors, sutlers and volunteers are welcome to join the Revolutionary education event. Friday evening dinner, awards and military ball. On Saturday, the main stage will have speakers, demonstrations and entertainment.

Fort Wayne, situated at the confluence of the Three Rivers, was on the front line in a battle that could have decided the fate of the entire Northwest Territory. Living history event dedicated to life in the Maumee River Valley circa 1770 through the War of 1812. Living historians, reenactors and demonstrators welcome. Situated on the bank of the Maumee River at the site of Native villages and overlooking the historic grounds of Fort Defiance and Fort Winchester. In collaboration with Riverfest and Art in the Park.


July 10-18, 2026 - Rocky Mountain National Rendezvous, Soward Ranch, Creede, Colorado.
